Poco C55 – An Entry-Level Smartphone

Poco has released the POCO C55 in India, an entry-level smartphone priced at Rs9,499 for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. Available starting February 28, this device comes in Forest Green, Cool Blue and Power Black color options.

It features a 6.71-inch HD+ display protected by Panda Glass with a resolution of 720×1650 pixels, along with 120Hz touch sampling rate support for HDR, HDR+, and Dolby Vision content.

This phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor and runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. It boasts up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be further expanded via microSD card.

Optics-wise, the phone features a dual rear camera setup with 50MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor. Additionally, there’s a 5MP front shooter for selfies or video calls.

On the connectivity front, the phone offers support for 4G LTE, dual SIMs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It can also be charged using a 10W charger and is IP52 certified for water and dust resistance.

The C55 also features a fingerprint sensor on the back as well as dual-camera module. Its rear cameras boast a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens and 2MP depth sensor for added depth perception.

At the front, you’ll find a 5MP camera with a waterdrop notch and dual-LED flash. This device can capture full HD videos at 30 frames per second and supports 4K video recording as well.

This device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged using standard 10W charger and provides up to 28 hours of standby time or 39 hours of video calling, according to the company.

It is a dual-SIM (Nano) phone running MIUI 13 operating system. The Poco C55 boasts a 6.71-inch HD+ display with 720×1650 resolution protected by Panda glass, plus it features 120Hz touch sampling rate and scratch resistance coating for added protection.

Software-wise, the device runs MIUI 13 on top of Android 12. It offers several features like virtual screen lock, face unlock and fingerprint scanner for added security.
